I am a self taught chef who loves to try new foods. I never cooked at all until I moved out of my parent’s home and went to University – it was then a necessity. Sometime in there, I gave up eating meat, and was a vegetarian for almost 10 years. I gave up vegetarianism the night before I got married, when I ate (almost all of ) a steak off my soon to be husband’s plate. It was yummy.
Currently I identify as a flexitarian. We eat a predominantly plant based diet, with some dairy products thrown in for good measure. We eat fish or chicken once or twice each week. It works for us.
